2. Scope

This notice applies to the public UNITERA landing page. Product accounts, pilot tenants, Company Brain, Personal Memory, Local Nodes and other product-related processing are outside this notice and require separate information.

3. Hosting by Vercel

The website is delivered through Vercel. Technically required connection and log data may be processed when the site is accessed, including IP address, timestamp, requested resource, HTTP status, browser/device information and technical security data.

Where this processing falls under our responsibility, the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the secure, stable and technically reliable operation of the website.

Vercel is based in the United States. International transfers therefore cannot be excluded; the provider's applicable transfer mechanisms govern such transfers.

4. Contact by email

If you contact us by email, we process your email address, communication metadata and message content in order to handle the request.

Depending on the request, the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for pre-contractual measures or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR for general business communication.

We use Proton Mail (Proton AG, Switzerland) for email communication.

5. Cookies, tracking and local storage

The current landing-page application code does not use analytics or marketing trackers and does not set non-essential cookies. Language selection is URL-based (/de and /en) and is not stored in the browser.

If consent-requiring technologies are introduced later, they will only be activated after the required consent and this notice will be updated beforehand.

6. Fonts and assets

Brand assets, icons and other page resources are served through the website's own infrastructure. The site does not load Google Fonts or similar external font services at runtime.

7. External links

The website contains links to external services, especially GitHub and GitBook. A connection to the third party is established only after you follow such a link. The third party's privacy notice then applies to its processing.

8. Retention

Personal data is retained only for as long as required for the respective purpose. Statutory retention duties and storage required to establish, exercise or defend legal claims remain unaffected.

9. Your rights

Where the legal requirements are met, you have rights including access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21).

Consent can be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future. You can exercise your rights by contacting unitera-systems@protonmail.com.

10. Right to complain

You may lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. For our place of establishment, the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information Baden-Württemberg is particularly relevant.

11. Changes

We update this notice when the website, service providers or legal requirements change. Before user accounts, pilot access, tracking, additional forms or product-related AI/data processing are introduced, the required information will be added.
